What is Managed WordPress Hosting?

Best for: Business websites, high-traffic WordPress sites, agencies, and users who want a hands-off hosting experience
Namecheap Pros & Cons
What We Like
- Very cheap shared hosting — Stellar from around £1.77/month with modest renewal increases
- UK data centre option on Stellar shared hosting plans
- Free WHOIS privacy for life on domain registrations
- Competitive domain prices, including .co.uk from around £5.51/year
- EasyWP managed WordPress is simple to set up and runs on NVMe storage
- Full product range from shared hosting through to dedicated servers
What Could Be Better
- No phone support — live chat and tickets only
- VPS and dedicated servers are located in the US (Phoenix), not the UK
- VPS plans are self-managed and cPanel costs extra
- Pricing is in US dollars, so UK costs fluctuate with exchange rates
- Entry-level Stellar plan is limited to three websites and 20 GB storage
- Shared hosting performance is average compared with LiteSpeed-based rivals
